Kevin Andrew BellAssociate
Kevin Bell is a litigation associate at Tenaglia & Hunt, P.A., where he works in the creditors’ rights practice group. He successfully advocates in the Virginia courts for national banks and large insurance companies in the recovery of their receivables.
Kevin started his legal career as an associate at a law firm in the Shenandoah Valley. For seven years, he handled a wide variety of cases, including criminal defense, personal injury (plaintiff and defense), domestic relations, medical collections, bankruptcy, and trusts and estates. Kevin then opened his own law practice representing individuals in their personal injury, medical malpractice, and social security disability cases.
Four years later, Kevin pivoted to reporting on corporate international tax law developments. He worked for two decades as a staff legal reporter and then as a managing editor, first at a nonprofit tax publisher, and then at a global media and financial data company. His area of expertise was tax treaties and transfer pricing (the confluence of international tax law, accounting, and economics).
